After a year of sold-out Made in Brazil parties, Liquified and Avaland are teaming up to throw their ultimo bash. How else would you celebrate your first birthday?

Forget conga lines and carnival—the Brazilian scene is all about beautiful people and breathtaking house music. DJs João Lee and Rodrigo Ayala will both play sets, and Gui Boratto will headline. Boratto is a 10-year veteran of Brazil's techno scene who quickly became a musical icon with his self-produced album "Chromophobia" in 2007. Beyond spinning records, Boratto can play several instruments, including the guitar and keyboard. Only a select few have seen his rare live show, but Made in Brazil will present Boratto in all his glory, giving L.A. club-goers their first glance of an instrumental performance from electronica's man of the year.
